Grainger announces Ian Coull to Board as upcoming Non-Executive Director and Chairman-designate

– Uk – Grainger plc, the UK’s largest listed residential property owner and manager, today announces that Ian Coull will join the board as a non-executive director on 23 September 2014 and will be proposed as Chairman at the AGM in February 2015. Robin Broadhurst will retire as a director and as Chairman on that day.

 Ian (64) has been Chairman of Galliford Try plc since 2011. He was Chief Executive of SEGRO plc from 2003 to 2011 and prior to this, a main board director of J Sainsbury plc. He has also been a non-executive director of Pendragon plc, a role he held from December 2010 to January 2013. He is currently a non-executive director of London Scottish International Ltd and of The Duchy of Lancaster and is also a Member of the Government’s Property Advisory Panel. This appointment is subject to normal FCA confirmations.
