Getaround adds Nikul Patel, Neil Savage and Qais Sharif to its Board as Independent Directors

– USA, CA –  Getaround (NYSE: GETR), the world’s first connected carsharing marketplace, today announced the additions of Nikul Patel, Neil Savage, and Qais Sharif to its Board as Independent Directors effective May 6, 2024, bringing extensive public company senior management experience to the Board.

Nikul Patel is the Founder and CEO of LoanGlide, Inc., an embedded financing platform for personal loans. Before LoanGlide, Mr. Patel held several senior management positions at LendingTree, Inc., including CSO, COO, and CPO. Before joining LendingTree, Mr. Patel held various leadership positions at, Inc. and Intel Corporation. Mr. Patel serves as a director of Data Axle, Inc., and Skyline Champion Corporation. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, and a BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gujarat University.

Neil Savage served as CRO and then President and COO of LendingTree where he was responsible for overall company revenue and then management of the company’s day-to-day operations. Before LendingTree, he held senior roles at CBS Corporation, CityGrid Media, LLC, and He holds an MA in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University and a BS in Business Management from the University of South Carolina.

About Qais Sharif

Qais Sharif has had a distinguished career in building and bringing new technologies to worldwide markets. He has held various global management positions at Visteon Corporation, where he currently serves as SVP and GM of the Americas and Energy Storage Solutions. Before Visteon, he was VP of of IT & Mobile USA Sales and Marketing, for LG Electronics Inc.’s consumer and automotive display markets. Previous to that, he held global senior leadership roles at TE Connectivity, Sharp Microelectronics, and Toshiba. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University.
