Finsbury Growth & Income Trust appoints Kate Cornish-Bowden and Lorna Tilbian to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors

– UK, London – The Board of Finsbury Growth & Income Trust PLC (LSE:FGT), is pleased to announce the appointments of Kate Cornish-Bowden and Lorna Tilbian as independent non-executive Directors of the Company, with immediate effect.

Kate worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management for 12 years, where she was Managing Director and head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Global Core Equity team. Kate is an experienced equity portfolio manager having managed funds on behalf of both retail investors and pensions funds. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Kate spent two years as a research analyst at M&G Investment Management. Kate is a non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Calculus VCT plc, a non-executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of Scancell Holdings plc and a non-executive Director of Arcis Biotechnology Holdings Limited. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and has completed the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma.

Lorna was formerly an Executive Director of Numis Corporation PLC and a Director of WestLb Panmure Limited and S G Warburg Securities. She is a non-executive Director of Jupiter UK Growth Investment Trust PLC and a non-executive Director of ProVen VCT PLC.
