FDM Group appointed Michelle de Fonseca to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – FDM Group (Holdings) plc (LSE:FDM), an international professional services provider focussing principally on Information Technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Senecal de Fonseca as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 15 January 2016.

Michelle has more than 25 years of experience in international telecommunications and technology and, until the start of this year, served as the global Director of Cloud & Hosting Services at Vodafone, which she joined in July 2012 through its acquisition of Cable & Wireless Worldwide, where she was Managing Director of Hosting. From 2007 to 2011 Michelle worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) where she managed the Telecom, Media and Technology banking team and its associated €3 billion investment portfolio.

Michelle is a co-founder and board member of Women in Telecoms and Technology, a UK not-for-profit organisation which aims to provide education, guidance and mentoring to women with an interest in the telecommunications and technology industries. She is also a Global Council Member at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.

On her appointment to the FDM board, Michelle will also become a member of the Company’s audit committee and remuneration committee.
