– UK, London – EnQuest PLC (LON: ENQ) today announced the appointment of Rani Koya to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2022.

Her extensive technical experience will be of great value to our team and her experiences running a renewable company will deepen our board capabilities in this crucial area. I very much look forward to working with Rani as the newest member of our reinvigorated Board.” said Board Chairman, Martin Houston.
Rani will also join the Technical and Reserves Committee.
About Rani Koya
Rani has worked extensively in major energy companies in a variety of technical, project management, and executive management roles across the globe. She is currently the CEO of a renewable energy company.
Rani Koya’s Biography:
Rani has more than 20 years of experience working within large multinational, independent, and start-up energy companies. These include Shell International, Hess, and Tullow and have involved a variety of technical, project management, and executive management roles across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Between 2017 and 2020 Rani was Chief Petroleum Engineer at Tullow. She has led multi-billion dollar projects across the globe from unconventional shales in the US to oil developments in East Africa.
Rani is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Trustee for the Oxford Food Hub, and a Director of South Essex College and the International Women’s Forum UK. She has a BSc (Hons) in Engineering Science and an MSc in Public Policy from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
Rani is currently the CEO of OGL Geothermal Ltd., a geothermal development company focussed on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
