– IRELAND, Dublin – The Board of eircom is pleased to confirm the appointment of Richard Moat as CEO.
Padraig McManus, Chairman, eircom said, “On behalf of the Board, I would like to congratulate Richard on his appointment. As CFO, he has been at the heart of the transformation and rejuvenation of the company over the past two years and he has demonstrated the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm required to lead the company through the next phase of its journey.”
Richard has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of eircom since September 2012. He brings more than 20 years of international experience, having spent 10 years as CEO of a number of telecoms businesses, most recently leading T-Mobile UK as its Managing Director, before becoming Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of Everything Everywhere. He is a non-executive director of International Personal Finance plc.
