– USA, CA – Datameer, the only end-to-end big data analytics application purpose-built for Hadoop, today announced it has appointed operating executive, board member and advisor, Mark Burton, to its board of directors. Burton brings with him three decades of operating and advisory experience to hyper-growth companies. His appointment will further strengthen Datameer’s rapid acceleration.
Burton’s software success includes modern databases, data and application integration, business intelligence and monetizing of open source. “I was attracted to Datameer by their first-to-market advantage in big data analytics with fastest time to insight and am thrilled to be joining their board of directors,” said Burton. “Datameer is helping customers drive significant business value beyond any other solution by eliminating the complexities of working with Hadoop.”
