CSS Industries appoints Harry Mullany to its Board of Directors

– USA, PA – CSS Industries, Inc. (NYSE: CSS) is pleased to announce that Harry J. Mullany III has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Mullany brings considerable executive leadership and management experience gained through his service as a senior executive with a variety of global mass market retailers and professional services providers. From November 2013 until August 2015, Mr. Mullany served as President of Toys R Us, Inc., a global toy and baby products retail company. He also served in various positions with Walmart Stores, Inc. between January 2006 and November 2010, including as its Executive Vice President and President North Business. From April 1988 until March 2002, Mr. Mullany served in various positions, including as President, with Genuardi’s Family Markets, L.P., a regional supermarket chain acquired in 2000 by Safeway, Inc. From February 2011 until May 2013, Mr. Mullany also served as Chief Executive Officer of The ServiceMaster Company, Inc., a leading provider of essential residential and commercial services. He received his undergraduate degree in 1980, and his M.B.A. in 1981, from Temple University.
