Centaur Media appoints William Eccleshare to its Board of Directors as Senior Independent Director

– UK,  London – Centaur Media plc (LSE: CAU), the business to business insight and information group, is pleased to announce that William Eccleshare will join the Board as a non-executive director and Senior Independent Director with effect from 1st July 2016.

William Eccleshare is Chairman & CEO of Clear Channel International. He served as a non-executive director of Hays plc from 2004-2014 and has been a board member of the Donmar Warehouse Theatre since 2013.

William has previously served in international leadership roles at major advertising agencies, including as Chairman and CEO of BBDO Europe, Middle East and Africa; European Chairman of Young and Rubicam; Chairman and CEO of Ammirati Puris Lintas (Interpublic Group) for Northern Europe; Global Strategic Planning Director of J. Walter Thompson Worldwide; and CEO, PPGH/JWT Amsterdam.

Centaur Media is further announcing that following this appointment and as set out in the Company’s Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2015, Chris Satterthwaite will step down as a non-executive director and Senior Independent Director with effect from 27 July 2016.
