Cenkos Securities announces Jeremy Miller to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, London –  Cenkos Securities PLC (LON:CNKS) today announced the appointment of Jeremy Miller as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. This appointment is subject to Financial Conduct Authority approval and will take effect at the end of the Company’s Annual General Meeting, on 15 May 2019, assuming regulatory consent has been received by then.

Commenting on the appointment, Jeff Hewitt Acting Chairman of the Company, said: “I am delighted that Jeremy has agreed to join the Board. Jeremy brings an impressive breadth and depth of financial services experience and will be a valuable addition to the senior management team’s experience for the continued development of Cenkos.”

About Jeremy Miller

Jeremy has over 30 years’ investment banking experience working for leading financial services firms. He held senior roles at Centerview Partners (2009 – 2016) including London Chief Operating Officer, Simon Robertson Associates (2004 – 2009), Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (1991 – 2003) including being Head of the European M&A Department and James Capel (1985 -1991). Jeremy previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and was seconded to The Takeover Panel (1988 – 1990).

Jeremy served as a non-executive director at Countryside Properties (2010 – 2013) and chaired the Audit and Remuneration Committees. He is Chairman of The National Merchant Buying Society, one of the UK’s largest co-operative societies.

Jeremy will Chair the Company’s Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and will also serve on the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
