CBS Outdoor appoints Manuel Díaz to Board of Directors as independent Director

– USA, NY – CBS Outdoor Americas Inc. (NYSE:CBSO) today announced the appointment of Manuel A. Díaz as an independent director to the Company’s Board from August 5, 2014.

Mr. Díaz will bring extensive public service and community expertise to the Board, having served as two-term mayor of Miami, Florida, between 2001 and 2009. While in office, he was chosen to lead the United States Conference of Mayors, the official non-partisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more, in 2008. That same year he was named one of America’s Best Leaders by U.S. News & World Report. After leaving elective office, he served as a 2010 Resident Fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics.

Mr. Díaz is currently a senior partner at Lydecker Diaz, LLP, a Miami-headquartered law firm specializing in financial litigation. He also serves as a director of Bloomberg Philanthropies, a member of the National Advisory Council of the Mayors’ Institute on City Design, and a member of the Advisory Board of The University of Pennsylvania Institute for Urban Research. Mr. Díaz is author of Miami Transformed: Rebuilding America One Neighborhood, One City at a Time.
