The directors of The Brunner Investment Trust PLC are pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Sharp to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2014.
Jim is a Partner in Sirius Equity LLP, which he co-founded in 2008, and he has been a non-executive director of James Cropper PLC since 2009. He began his career in financial services with J. Henry Schroder & Co from 1992 to 2002, where he was a director, and since has held senior roles with a number of private equity backed businesses.
In accordance with the board’s ongoing succession plans, Sir William Worsley will retire from the board and not seek re-election in March 2014.
