BlackRock World Mining Trust plc announces that Ms Judith Mosely will be appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from today.
Ms Mosely is a senior banker with eighteen years’ experience in the mining and metals sector. For the last three years she has held the position of Business Development Director for Rand Merchant Bank in London with responsibility for developing the bank’s African business with international mining and metals companies.
She previously headed the mining finance team at Société Générale in London where her focus was principally on debt financing in EMEA and Australia. She has broad experience across commodity sectors, working with juniors through to multinationals. Prior to Société Générale, Judith’s early career was with National Westminster Bank’s International Division and Hambros Bank.Ms Mosely is a Trustee of Earthwatch, an international environmental charity where she is a member of the International Council and the Finance Committee. She is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers and sits on the Advisory board of Women in Mining.
Ms Mosely will also serve as a member of the Company’s Audit and Management Engagement Committee.
