BBA Aviation announces David Crook to its Board as next Group Finance Director

– UK, London – BBA Aviation plc (LSE:BBA), the leading global aviation support and aftermarket services provider, announces that Mike Powell, Group Finance Director, has resigned in order to take up the role of Chief Financial Officer of Wolseley plc, and will be leaving the Group on 31st May 2017. The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of David Crook, currently Group Financial Controller, to the position of Group Finance Director and to the Board with effect from 1st June 2017.

David Crook has served as Group Financial Controller since joining BBA Aviation in April 2015. David’s previous roles include Head of Group Finance at AZ Electronic Materials, as well as general management and finance roles within Sun Chemical, Telewest Global, Vantico Group and Corus Group. David is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.
