– UK, Kings Lynn – BB Healthcare Trust plc (LON: BBH) today announced that Professor Justin Stebbing has today stepped down from his position as Chairman of the Company due to his other commitments, and announced that Non-Executive Director Randeep Grewal will today be appointed Chairman of the Board.
Justin will remain on the Board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director.
Randeep Grewal commented: “Justin’s invaluable input has helped grow the Company into something which invests meaningfully in innovative companies that are improving healthcare for patients globally. Although he is stepping down as Chairman, we are delighted that he will continue to serve the Company as a Non-Executive Director. The Board and the Manager appreciate the clinical and scientific context that he can offer as the transformation of the healthcare marketplace unfolds.”
The Board acknowledges and understands the extent of Justin’s other commitments and would like to thank him for his valuable contribution as Chairman to the development of the Company since admission in December 2016.

I share the Manager’s view that we are in the beginnings of a revolution in the way that healthcare is delivered. After a few years helping to build up the Trust to the excellent company it is today and after much deliberation, I feel it is the right time for me to step aside as Chairman but I am keen to remain involved in this exciting project”
