Baltic International Bank adds current Chief Risk Officer Bogdans Andruščenko to its Board of Directors

– LATVIA, Rīga – Baltiс International Bank’s Council has decided to expand the composition of the Bank Board by appointing Mr Bogdans Andruščenko, the current BIB Chief Risk Officer, to the post of member of the Board.

‘With the banks operating on a market characterised by complexity of operations and high levels of competition, ensuring an efficient risk management becomes increasingly important. It is important to us as a bank to strike the balance between the profits and the risk appetite in order to ensure a sustainable growth both for our customers and for the Bank itself. We are certain that, as the new member of the Board, Mr Andruščenko will draw upon his long-term experience in risk management, which is also essential in the context of reinforcing the current bank sector regulation,’ said Ilona Guļčaka, Chairperson of Baltic International Bank.

B. Andruščenko started building his career at the BIB in 2002, since which time he has held various positions at the Bank. During the last three years he has worked as the Head of the BIB Risk Control, Reporting and Analysis Department and the Chief Risk Officer. B. Andruščenko, Member of the BIB Board, owns no voting shares of Baltic International Bank.

The BIB Board consists of 7 persons: Ilona Guļčaka is Chairperson of the Board, Nataļja Tkačenko is Deputy Chairperson of the Board, and Dinārs Kolpakovs, Mārtiņš Neibergs, Inese Lazdovska, Alons Nodelamans and Bogdans Andruščenko are members of the Board.
