Atheer adds Joe Kiani to its Board along with raising $14m Series B funding round co-led by Signatures Capital and Streamlined Ventures

– USA, CA – Atheer, the company pioneering the new AiR™ (Augmented interactive Reality™) computing platform, today announced that it has closed a $14 million Series B funding round led by Signatures Capital and Streamlined Ventures and joined by new and existing investors including Fang Group, Shanda Group, FundersClub and RONA Holdings.

The funding will accelerate Atheer’s go-to-market activities and global customer deployment of the newly unveiled augmented reality AiR™ Glasses and the collaboration-centric AiR™ Suite for Enterprise.

Today, the company also revealed the opening of its online store for pre-orders of AiR Glasses, priced at $3,950 and the subscription-based AiR Suite available for $50 per user per month.

Further, Joe Kiani, CEO of Masimo, has joined Atheer’s board of directors and Michael Patsalos-Fox, CEO of Stroz Friedberg and the former Chairman of the Americas for McKinsey & Company, will join as an advisor. This news builds on the recent announcements of Atheer’s first acquisition of gesture recognition software provider ONtheGO Platforms and its new partnership with remote screen sharing and online collaboration software provider TeamViewer.
