– USA, PA – The Asia Tigers Fund, Inc. (NYSE: GRR), a closed-end equity fund, announced today that Ms. Nisha Kumar has been appointed to the Board of Directors as a Class III Director, a member of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee, effective January 1, 2016.
Nisha Kumar has been a Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Greenbriar Equity Group LLC since 2011. She was previously Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Rent the Runway, Inc. during 2011. From 2007-2009, Ms. Kumar served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AOL LLC, a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. She is a graduate of Harvard College and received her MBA from Harvard Business School. Nisha is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
