Arrow Global Group announces Iain Cornish as upcoming Non-Executive Director

– UK – Arrow Global is pleased to announce that Mr Cornish has been formally appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 15 October 2013. Mr Cornish will also chair the Audit and Risk Committee and join the Nomination and Disclosure Committees with effect from the same date.

Mr. Cornish is currently a non-executive director of the Prudential Regulation Authority and of St James’s Place PLC. He spent 19 years, between 1992 and 2011, at Yorkshire Building Society, where he worked in a number of management roles and then as chief executive officer for eight years (from 2003 to 2011). Before joining the Yorkshire Building Society, he was a corporate planner at Bradford and Bingley Building Society (1990 to 1992), a senior consultant at KPMG (1987 to 1990), assistant head of corporate planning at the Post Office (1984 to 1987) and senior assistant statistician at the Department of Trade and Industry (1982 to 1984). He was previously a non-executive director of Vanquis Bank, chairman of the Practitioner Panel of the FSA, chairman of the Building Societies Association and executive committee member of the Council of Mortgage Lenders. He holds a degree in Business, Economics and Statistics from Southampton University.
