– USA, NY – Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc. (NYSE: ARI) today announced that its Board of Directors elected Brenna Haysom to serve as an independent director, effective February 3, 2020.
Ms. Haysom’s election brings the total number of independent directors on ARI’s board to five out of eight seats. She will serve as a member of both the Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Prior to founding Rally Labs, LLC in 2010, Ms. Haysom worked in the private equity group of Apollo Global Management, Inc., where she focused on both equity and credit investing across a range of industries that included financial services, transportation, chemicals, telecom and media. She began her career at Lazard Frères & Co. Ms. Haysom graduated from Harvard College and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
