AlphaPipe appointed Charlie Cassidy to its Board of Directors as a Strategic Advisor

– USA, NY – AlphaPipe announced Charles Cassidy has joined the Board of Directors and will serve as a Strategic Advisor to the financial technology firm founded by former Goldman Sachs executive Westley Chapman.

“The AlphaPipe platform is a game changer in transforming the industry’s information overload from a burden to an asset in driving efficient diligence and monitoring. I look forward to working with the team in driving continued growth,” noted Mr. Cassidy.

Mr. Chapman remarked: “Charlie embodies the thought leadership at the core of AlphaPipe’s information exchange technology and the market network we power for the investment management industry. He brings direct experience and a passion for reinventing the due diligence and monitoring processes that occupy so much of the industry’s collective bandwidth.”

Mr. Cassidy retired at the end of 2014 from Cambridge Associates (CA) where he built the global investment consulting firm’s operational due diligence effort and led the early development of the firm’s online research platform Research Navigator. While at CA he participated in and co-authored the report issued by the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets chaired by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson in 2007 and 2008. Mr. Cassidy also built a national sales team for early-stage startup Prospero Technologies and held a number of senior operating and marketing roles over a 25-year career at State Street Corporation that included building their European global custody business and establishing and growing business units in Luxembourg, the Cayman Islands and Toronto.

Mr. Cassidy currently advises industry technology and asset management startups and serves on the boards of investment funds. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Harvard Business School.
