Alegeus Technologies appoints Ken Fasola to its Board of Directors

Mr. Fasola is one of the healthcare industry’s most prominent leaders, with more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership positions at several of the industry’s leading organizations – including UnitedHealth Group and Humana.

Mr. Fasola brings tremendous senior leadership experience and proven expertise in sales, marketing and business development – with an impeccable track record of driving profitable business growth across multiple organizations, market segments, and lines of business. Throughout his career, Mr. Fasola has worked closely with companies that are delivering innovative technology and services to the healthcare industry. His depth of knowledge and expertise will be indispensable in helping Alegeus to continue its rapid growth trajectory as the market leader in consumer healthcare funding solutions.

Mr. Fasola currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthMarkets, Inc. Prior to joining HealthMarkets, he spent seven years with UnitedHealth Group and 13 years at Humana. While at UnitedHealth Group Mr. Fasola served as Chief Executive Officer of Secure Horizons, the nation’s largest Medicare Advantage insurer, CEO of UHC’s Central Region, and president of UHC’s Lines of Business. Throughout his career at Mr. Fasola held several executive and senior management roles including chief operating officer of market operations and senior vice president sales, marketing and business development.
