Albion Development VCT appoints Lord O’Shaughnessy to its Board of Directors alongside Ben Larkin as new Chairman

– UK, London –  Albion Development VCT PLC (LON: AADV) today announced that Ben Larkin has become Chairman of the Company with effect from 8 July 2019. He succeeds the late Geoffrey Vero.

Ben was appointed as a non-executive director to the Board of the Company on 5 December 2016. He is also a partner at Jones Day solicitors and has extensive experience of private equity and structured finance transactions.

The Board also announced that Lord O’Shaughnessy will be appointed to the Board of the Company with effect from 8 July 2019.

About Lord O’Shaughnessy

Lord O’Shaughnessy has operated at the highest levels across UK Government, including as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary in the Department for Health & Social Care with key policy responsibilities including life sciences; medicines pricing and regulation; preparing the health and social care sectors for Brexit; and, data, digital and technology, including cybersecurity. He was created a life peer in 2015 taking the title Baron O’Shaughnessy, of Maidenhead in the Royal County of Berkshire, and previously served as Director of Policy in No.10 Downing Street.
