Airbnb appoints Dr. James Manyika to its Board of Directors

– USA, CA –  Airbnb (NASDAQ: ABNB) today announced the appointment of Dr. James Manyika (Ph.D.) to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

James Manyika will also join the Stakeholder Committee as Chair.

About James Manyika

Currently SVP of Research, Technology, and Society at Google,  James Manyika is a graduate of both the University of Zimbabwe and the University of Oxford, from which he holds two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Before joining Google, he spent nearly three decades at McKinsey where he led the renowned McKinsey Global Institute’s research on technology, the economy, and major global trends.
