Advanced Energy Industries names Grant Beard as new Chairman of its Board of Directors

– USA, CO – Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:AEIS), a leader in precision power conversion, today announced that Terry Hudgens has decided to retire and not stand for re-election to the board at the 2016 annual meeting of shareholders scheduled for May 5, 2016. Mr. Hudgens will serve the remainder of his term as a director until the 2016 annual meeting of shareholders. The board has appointed Grant Beard as the new chairman of the board. Mr. Beard has been a director of the company since 2014 and is the chair of the board’s nominating & governance committee.
