AccuStore appointed Jan Davis to its Board of Directors

– USA, FL – AccuStore, a leading provider of site intelligence for retailers and multi-site operators, announced today that Jan Davis has joined the board of AccuStore’s parent company, GSP, to advise management on the ongoing development of the AccuStore technology platform.

“AccuStore’s technology meets a profound need in retail to reduce the cost and delays that arise when large retailers struggle to understand store-specific facts and data,” Davis said. “With the backing of GSP’s thirty-five years of experience in supporting large retail chains, AccuStore is uniquely positioned to offer a technology and support platform that will enable major retailers to realize long-lasting improvements in their bottom-line performance.”

Jan brings to AccuStore extensive experience in leveraging technology to improve retail results.  Jan previously served as President, CEO and Board Member at ShopperTrak RCT Corporation, the global leader in pedestrian traffic counting, from 2004 to 2008. During her tenure, revenues doubled and the company expanded internationally, including a wholly-foreign-owned subsidiary in China. She also served as Executive Vice President, Divisional President for TransUnion, overseeing the $100+ million Performance Data and Insurance divisions as well as the acquisition and integration of TrueLink, an interactive, direct-to-consumer products company.

As a retired CEO and active angel investor and board member, she advises companies in software, analytics, direct and interactive marketing—providing strategic direction, CEO coaching and introductions to potential customers, suppliers, partners and investors. For over 25 years, Jan has been leading growth and transformation with a focus on commercializing innovative new technologies that drive value for companies in technology-enabled services, database/analytics and interactive marketing.

In addition to GSP’s Board, Jan currently serves as a Board Member at SEAL Innovation and Showing Time, and an Advisory Board Member for Spring Metrics, The Launch Place Seed Fund, Three Ships Media, BiddRocket and Market Vue Partners. She also serves as President, Executive Committee Member and Angel Investor at Triangle Angel Partners, and an Executive in Residence at Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network.

Jan has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Retel Technologies (purchased by ShopperTrak), WebServius, TrustedID, GeeYee and Ribstone Systems, and as a Board Member at RCT Analytics Ltd., the Illinois Technology Association, Chicago Finance Exchange and the Alumni Council at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. She holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

“We are truly honored to have Jan on our board,” said Geoff Neuhoff, CEO of AccuStore’s parent company, GSP. “Her unique combination of retail and technology expertise coupled with her extensive experience as a business leader and advisor will be invaluable as we position AccuStore for growth as the leader in site intelligence.”
