– UK, London – 3i Group Plc (LON: III), announces the appointment of Alexandra Schaapveld as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 January 2020.
Simon Thompson, 3i Chairman, said: “We are very pleased to announce Alexandra’s appointment to 3i’s Board. She brings extensive financial services expertise in a number of important markets for 3i and significant board experience in a variety of sectors.”
About Alexandra Schaapveld
Alexandra Schaapveld is currently a member of the supervisory boards of Societe Generale S.A., Vallourec S.A. and The Netherlands Development Finance Company. She is also a non-executive director of Bumi Armada Berhad in Malaysia. She was previously on the boards of Holland Casino, VU University and VU Medical Center, Stage Entertainment and Duin & Kruidberg.
Prior to that Alexandra was Head of Global Banking and Markets in Western Europe for Royal Bank of Scotland and had previously worked for many years for ABN AMRO.
